Vix or Vaporub is availabe to be bought at your local supermarket. This is a cool blog, thanks for this post very much. You know I was awake late in bed tonight wondering what I could do to sooth this. N thanks to you I have a remedy, it really is a great way of relieving a cough. I also tried some honey and had a nice warm shower. Hopefully all goes well. Keep it up champ Heya.

Sounds like a web hoax. You might want to try hydrogen peroxide. I have been using regular 3 per cent store type hydrogen peroxide as mouth wash and it works quite well. Swish it around for a minute or so. It kills germs and bad breath. There are other oxygen type mouth washers but they cost a lot more. You can gargle with hydrogen peroxide which will help kill germs in your throat; just don't swallow it. They are also making spray bottles of hydrogen peroxide which can get back in your throat area without gargling. But don't use it in your nose. Also don't use the 30 per cent hydrogen peroxides from health food stores as it is hard to dilute and too high a percentage will burn you. Am not sure about putting Vicks on your feet.
