cologne

kainis….

i accidentally sprayed cologne on my eyes last monday.  i immediately rinsed it with water and thought everything will be okay.  well, that’s what i thought.  right now i feel some ”pain/hapdi” in my right eye. 

haay… need to have this checked by saturday…

party update

venue, theme and food - booked jollibee national bookstore.  this time he’ll have spongebob party. *~i want it sana in ortigas ave, same as last year but i was too late na.  3rd priority na kmi~*. 

invitation from jollibee - done. will have to attach the map na lang. will send this out next week. *~i asked my cousin to write the details, ganda kse ng sulat ko ~*

invitation and map (for email) – done with the layout. will send this out also next week.

photo/video – booked egm production. need to prepare 25 pictures for the video. *~rudney already picked his favorite pictures, have to check if its also my favorite ~*

adult souvenirs – will get this from konsepto this afternoon.  *~eventhough we just finalized the layout yesterday they assured me that i can get it today. yehey! :) ~*

kids loot bags – will attach gift tag na lang.

game prizes – complete na.

piñata – complete na rin.  already bought the candies and toys.  will stuff the piñata a day before the party.

tarpaulin – not yet done .  though i already have a layout in mind.  i have to finish it this weekend.  also need to go call intermatrix for their requirements and to confirm their rates.  *~i think they are much cheaper than pixografx.~*

guest list – need to finalize it this weekend

what else pa ba? hmmm…

i already bought johann his polo shirt, and no its not lacoste.  though i’m so tempted to buy him and myself a lacoste polo shirt that i saw in podium para terno kmi.  birthday naman namin pareho eh. *~i-justify ba ~*, but with its price i controlled myself, sayang eh. maybe next time.

too sweet for me and a bit pricey for a doughnut (spent 200+ for half dozen).

i just tried it because when i was in megamall last year everywhere i look people have a box or boxes of it.  so i bought 3 original, 1 chocolate iced glazed, 1 new york cheesecake and 1 chocolate iced custard filled. well, the original is too sweet, the cheesecake tastes like medicine, while the custard is “nakakasuya”. 

well, in fairness their doughnuts really melts in your mouth.

calendar

i delayed posting this blog that i almost forgot about it.  i don’t want kse to spoil my surprise gift for rudney.  he already received his copy last year after christmas.

i was thinking of doing a calendar with johann’s pictures for rudney *~eventhough i don’t know when can i give it to him~*. i’ve already selected the pictures but i don’t know how to do the layout.  i started doing january layout when i saw a calendar from one of the blog that i usually read.  it was so cute so i traced where she got it.  i’m not into digiscrapping *~though i tried doing one layout using a ploppers, the one where you just put pictures on it~* and my creativeness only strikes once in a blue moon.  so to relieve myself from the burden of thinking/designing a layout for every month, i just bought the kit online.  every night since i bought it, i work on it when i got home.  i usually slept late because of this.  after i finished the jan-may layout i had it printed in photoline to see how it would look when printed.  and i was not disappointed, in fact i was so very happy with the result. 

my next problem was the stand of the calendar.  though it said in the kit that it is sized to fit the slim cd case, i can’t seem to find one.  so what i did was i made my own stand out of illustration board, sticker paper and loop rings *~i wanted sana na i-ring bind but they won’t accept the illustration board~*.  and since i also wanted to give it to family members and it was tedious to make the stand i just had it printed the size of the diskette so that i can use the diskette case as stand.

and since i was so happy with that kit i already made 3 calendars for my friends and 1 for my sister’s office mate.

divi trip

successful ang divi trip namin ni lhen last saturday.  for johann’s party, i was able to buy souvenirs for kids *~i already booked konsepto for adult giveaways*~, game prizes and a piñata with a jollibee picture *~ala na kse spongebob~*.  for johann, i bought him arm floaters, toy guitar, drumset and a hi-5 dibidi *~pati pala ito eh na pirata na, gosh! :p ~*.  for me naman i only bought a sandals.  babalikan ko na lang yung shoes and polo na nakita ko.  dami ko pala mabibili doon.

sidekwento on johann’s drumset.  last christmas i wanted to buy johann a drumset.  i saw one in rustans makati for Php1200.  since i already have small gifts for johann i told myself na sa bday na lang nya.  good thing that i waited kse i got it in divi for Php550 only.  i plan to wrap it first para that will be the gift na i-open nya sa party nya *~for video purposes ;p ~*.  when i got home i showed it to my mom while johann was there thinking na hindi naman nya papansinin kse naka-box pa sya. aba, when he saw it para syang na-hypnotize.  i tried to hide the box pero ayaw na nya akong tigilan.  he even pulled my mom’s friend arm para i-open yung box.  di na ako nakatiis and pati mom ko so i opened it na.  aba, tuwang-tuwa ang loko. hinataw na nya ng hinataw.  the next morning i texted rudney to tell him i wanted to show him what i bought in divi.  so nag-online sya and he saw the drums.  natawa sya and he told me na lagot kmi sa kapitbahay.  so we asked johann to play with his drumset para pakita kay daddy.  aba, at nagpakitang gilas nga.  watch his own version of doobi.

before i went to sleep (around 1am) i wrote this on my pda.  these are my choices for johann’s 2nd birthday.  i was thinking about this while i was having a massage last night at my favorite spa.  though i already told my mom that i plan to do it in jollibee again, i’m still having second thoughts.  i want to do it in our house but there would be a problem with the parking.  with storyland and swimming party i think it would cost us a lot.  i don’t want to spend much since i’m planning an out of the country trip when rudney arrives.  i went to sleep last night still undecided.

this morning, while i was preparing for work johann woke up.  so i greeted him good morning.  he sat down and smiled at me and said “jayibee”.  i smiled and said “ok”.
